About this place
Mannington Hall is a moated medieval manor house near Itteringham in Norfolk.
The first house on the site was built in the 15th century, and the moat still encircles the building today.
The Walpole family held the estate from the 18th century until 2025, when ownership passed to the Ellis family.
The grounds are open seasonally, though the hall itself is currently closed to visitors while conservation work is carried out.
